Update 1.1 Released!


New Features:

Score:

  • Score System: now doing certain actions may give you some points, just for fun and maybe some replay factor, no real in-game use.
  • Gem Drops: now breaked jars may drop some valuable gems to increase your score.
  • Combo System: attacking enemies/destroying jars sequentially will now cause the combo effect, which gives you extra points on doing actions, the combo will slowly fade out as you walk.

Passwords:

  • Now each level has its own three-digits password;
  • The password of the current level is displayed when you try to quit the game from the menu;
  • The password of the current level is displayed on the password menu as well.

Visual Changes:

  • Now there is a label on the top of the screen that shows you your current level;
  • The current score is displayed at the top of the screen, as well as on the final screen;
  • The lasers now have a red light and some fire particles when active;
  • There is a display on the bottom of the screen that shows you what weapon you have currently;
  • Now you start without the sword and gets it right after the movement tutorial;
  • At the start of the game, there is a splash screen with the instituition and some credits.


Fixes:

  • The level 1-3 was reworked to make it less annoying and more enjoyable;
  • The final screen now only closes with the ESC button (before was any key, inluding screenshot buttons);
  • The 'Next Level' and 'Death' musics now have its gain related to the SFX Volume (before it was impossible to control it);


Some Next-Version Ideas:

  • Increasingly Punishment: as you die in-game, the death point penalty will gradually increase, so, dying frequently may cause you to have much less points at the end of the game;
  • Reuse Pathfinding: due to the FPS drop at some levels, making the enemies use the previous patch found to recalculate the path may use less processing power.
